My best holiday ever
Considering the length, I have to say that my best holiday was one that lasted a month and a half. Also, it is the best because in 2004, I was travelling on my own and it was quite an exciting experience.
I spent most of my time in Belgium, in the capital Brussels, but from there I travelled to other cities in Belgium like Liége and Bruges. By bus, by car or by train I visited London, Paris and Amsterdam too.

Apart from getting around old and beautiful cities, I visited friends and they were very nice with me. I stayed with them, sometimes for two nights or with some others for a week depending on who I was visiting.
I spent 6 films, so I got plenty of black and white pictures from that trip. I spent money going to museums, and all of them where so interesting... I’m sure I would have visited more museums if I had had more money.

The most important reason to consider this my best holidays was the fact that I was on my own and obviously the chance I had to visit different countries in a bit more than a month. I’m afraid I have no pictures to upload as I didn’t take digital photos and I haven’t scanned them either.
Belen, I think that you had a wonderful chance of travelling around Europe in your own. I had the opportunity to travel to some European countries but all the time as a part of my job... I hope next time will be different.
ReplyDeleteit´s too bad that for money you can´t go to the museums, they should be free because they are very educational places and we learn a lot in thems, i heard that in England most of the museums are free. It is very amazing that you travel in your own, maybe you should do it more. See you in the next class, bye bye

ReplyDeleteHi! what a great experience! it's really brave for yourself travell by your own and it's great! we should all loose the fear to do it! the f***ing money always becomes a problem if you are not rich :( but I really thinks that you apreciate all what you could travel! I hope the price of life gets down to can go there some day LOL

Your trip must have been incredible! It is a real pity that your photos are not digital, but i think those should be greate.
ReplyDeleteThat entertaining travel alone! I still don't dare, but I know I have to do it sometime. I have never traveled so long, first for money, second because I am very attached to my family and I miss them, I think I should start being more independent. Regards!
